Located in Astana Central Park, The St. Regis Astana provides an ecologically friendly, secured and private environment, and is in close vicinity of the embassies, corporate headquarters and more.
The monument was established as a symbol of a new era of the Kazakh people lifetime and highlighted by the artistic composition "Ayala-Alakan" – a mold of the right hand of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The diameter of the ball which is crowning the composition is 22 meters and the weight is 300 tons. The height of the monument is 97 meters. Visitors may rich the top and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. Inside the building there is a cafe, aquariums, a mini gallery with the works of the famous local artist Erbolat Tolepbai.
Hazret Sultan Mosque
"Hazret Sultan" has the largest dome in Kazakhstan (51 meters height, 28.1 meters width). The height of each of the four minarets is 77 meters. The mosque is constructed in the classic Islamic style using traditional Kazakh ornaments. The total area is more than 11 hectares, and the area of the buildings is 17.700 square meters.
Kazakh Eli monument
The memorial complex "Kazakh Eli" is located in the center of Astana, on Independence Square. The monument represents white column, on top of which there is a gilded figure of the mythical Samruk bird, and at its base there are four bronze bas-reliefs: "The First President and the People of Kazakhstan", "Courage", "Creation" and "The Future". The monument symbolizes the basic values of the Kazakh statehood and is one of the new symbols of the country.
Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center Designed by famous British Architect, Lord Norman Foster. Khan Shatyr is the biggest tent in the world and also is the biggest shopping center in Kazakhstan. It is located on the New Astana Center Axis which is also called the "Millennium Axis" with magnificent views of the Presidential Palace.
Palace of Peace and Reconciliation
The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation is a symbol of friendship, unity and peace in Kazakhstan. The author of the project is a famous British architect Lord Norman Robert Foster. The Pyramid has a pure form, 62 meters high and 62 meters base. The top of the pyramid is decorated with a work of art the artist Brian Clarke. There is a picture of 130 doves that symbolize 130 nationalities living in Kazakhstan. There is also the Opera Hall with 1302 seats.
Atameken Ethno-Memorial Complex
Atameken is a reduced copies of architectural and natural attractions: Astana’s symbols – Bayterek, Pyramid, Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, country’s main industrial facilities, agricultural fields, mountain sceneries, well-known holiday resort Borovoe (Burabay), different roads, bridges and so on. All the regions and country’s major cities, such as Astana and Almaty, are marked on the huge map of Kazakhstan. All in all, the park of miniatures has over 200 sights, and their number is gradually increases.
